# Cache & performance (WP-admin)

## 1. Purpose

Local cache/RPS/latency dashboard (`PerformancePage`). Copy (code): object cache if present else WP transients; **bookings / prebook / verify / cancel are never cached**; listed rates TTL is indicative; **not a live PASS**.

WP: **Alya Hotels → Cache & perf**. Linked from Dashboard and Console ops. Cockpit hash: **not** in `nav()` (WP-admin only).

## 4. Fields

`ResponseCache::stats()`: backend, hits, misses, sets, flushes, hit ratio, image CDN. `RateLimitTracker::snapshot()`. TTL table from `CachePolicy::ttls()`. Live values: NOT DETERMINED FROM CURRENT EVIDENCE.

## 5. Buttons

Flush/purge if present on page (`AdminActions`). **Not clicked**.

N/A beyond page scope.

## 7. Actions

Read stats; optional cache flush (destructive).

## 8. Workflow

Admin → Cache & perf → inspect hit ratio / RPS.

## 9. REST/API

Staff `/alya/v1/cache/*` (cockpit cache purge). This page is admin HTML, not a public REST UI.

## 10. Database

Transients / object cache — not booking tables.

## 11. Permissions

`VIEW_DASHBOARD` or `MANAGE_SETTINGS`.

## 12. Business meaning

Protect LiteAPI rate limits. Cached min-rates/list is not a bookable offer.

## 13. Limitations

No live screenshot. Redis/LiteSpeed object cache presence on Hostinger: see infrastructure audit (LiteSpeed present; object-cache backend UNKNOWN this pass).
